Crypmoji is a cutting-edge communications startup that employs state-of-the-art encryption technology to integrate secure messaging and file-sharing capabilities directly into users' native iOS/Android keyboards seamlessly. After a successful project together we became their official design partner and continue to work with them on their app, strategy and design assets.

REVAMPING THEIR POSITIONING & STRATEGY:

After auditing the brand, we established that the initial identity and strategy didn’t align with how the app was being used. Crypmoji was a serious tool being used by professionals for GDPR compliance, yet the branding was fun and childlike. This laid the foundation for a complete strategic overhaul to re-establish their positioning as a serious tool for secure and encrypted communication. We derived strategic positioning, resonant storytelling and a content strategy that conveyed the sophistication and value of their platform for SMBs working with data privacy responsibilities.

A VISUAL IDENTITY OVERHAUL:

With this new positioning in mind, we embarked on reshaping Crypmoji's visual identity. The redesign incorporated modern and distinctive privacy motifs to reflect the cutting-edge technology while ensuring simplicity for user accessibility. The logo, colour palette, and overall visual language were reimagined to align seamlessly with the brand's new narrative - A guardian of your business’ sensitive data.

DESIGNING THE WEBSITE AND THE APP’S UI:

As part of the new brand strategy, Crypmoji separated itself out from its parent company Arebus via its own clean and minimalistic website. We used animations, iconography and value-prop driven copy to convey all of the benefits of using Crypmoji in your business. We then completely revamped their App’s UI so that it was cohesive with the brand’s updated visual identity.
